Isshinryu Since 1996
Traditional Isshinryu Classes
We have kids' classes at 5:30-6:30 and adults' class from 6:45-8:00 on Tues and Thursday nights, We typically have a 15 minute martial arts workout with stretching and calisthenics, then break off into any number of various drills and activities. These can range from forms (katas) to techniques, self defense, cardio-circuits, grappling (ju-jitsu), kobudo (weapons) and of course very often kumite (fighting).
We take pride in offering a well-rounded approach to the Martial Arts and self defense. We teach respect, honesty, and perserverence through fun yet practical training. Our fundamental style here is Okinawan Isshinryu karate, but we also specialize in Ju-Jitsu and Kobudo (weaponry).
If you are a parent looking to build your child's self-esteem, confidence, physical fitness, and integrity, we can certainly help.
If you are an adult looking to get into the best physical shape of your life, learn to protect yourself as well as build self-confidence, then look no further.
